Beth Fisher KVBC –T.V. Anchor Beth Fisher spent most of her life in Oregon. She grew up in a small town called Huntington. (15 people in her high school graduating class.) She left the country life for Portland, where she graduated from Pacific University with a double major in journalism and literature. Beth's first television job came in Medford, Oregon, where she was the station's primary anchor. Beth says she spent enough time in the Pacific Northwest to grow webbed feet, so she decided to take her chances at our desert lifestyle. In 1999, Beth joined the News 3 team as a weekend anchor. Now you'll find her anchoring the 4 and 6 o'clock newscasts Monday through Friday. Beth is also our Healthline 3 reporter, digging deeper into medical miracles and medical hoaxes. Beth is an honorary board member for the Arthritis Foundation and an advisory board member for Goodwill, and works closely with the Special Olympics of Southern Nevada to help raise awareness about disabled athletes. Beth enjoys spending her spare time with her husband Rian, and their two dogs Dan and Anne.
