Developing New Leadership
Jewish Emerging Leaders (JewEL) is a volunteer led/staff supported program of the Jewish Federation of Las Vegas that provides an opportunity for young Jewish professionals (20’s & 30’s) to take an active role in shaping their community through philanthropic community service and social activities.
We believe one person can make a difference and invite you to join us to make an impact…
There are a number of ways to get more involved that range from serving on a committee and helping to plan a JewEL program to manning a phone at our next phone-a-thon or participating in our monthly community service projects. Please don’t hesitate to get more involved, we can find a way for you to make a difference in the community.
If you are new to Las Vegas, we have a Welcoming Committee set up to help you and know a friendly face at an upcoming event. Please email Aviva Levine at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.

JewEL does its best to raise awareness and dollars to help support the mission for the Jewish Federation of Las Vegas. Please click here to learn more about the mission of the Federation and to see a list of all the programs and agencies supported by the Annual Community Campaign.
We encourage everyone to make a meaningful gift to the Jewish Federation of Las Vegas’ Annual Community Campaign. 100% of your donation will be distributed to our most important Jewish agencies locally and abroad.
As a program of the Federation, JewEL creates opportunities to learn about what it means to be a leader in the community. The SpringBoard Leadership Series engages and trains young Jewish Professionals for volunteerism and leadership in the Jewish community. Participants learn about political advocacy and activism, Jewish communal fundraising, serving on a board, combating anti-Semitism and more. This leadership series consists of seminars led by local and national leaders.
The Ben-Gurion Society is a donor recognition program for individuals ages 25-45 who make a minimum individual gift of at least $1,000 to UJC/Jewish Federation of Las Vegas’ annual campaign. But the Ben Gurion Society is so much more than that; it is something new and vibrant that is on the rise around the country. BGS members are not just a part of their Jewish communities; they are stepping up and helping to SHAPE their communities. Rise to it - join us today!
